Administrative Assistant

Full-time Administrative Assistant, competitive salary and benefits, position located in Mentor, MN. This is a highly responsible and varied position working directly with general and specific Housing Redevelopment Authority organization and operation of the agency in subsidized housing. This position is responsible for providing information and answers to the public and for receiving and handling inquiries and complaints. Work also includes exercising a significant amount of latitude in judgment based on knowledge gained through experience in procedures and responsibilities. Work differs from a clerical position primarily in the complexity of the office responsibilities. Considerable initiative, independent judgment and discretion is required in handling various delegated administrative details. Establishes and maintains file systems; files material, sorts active and inactive files; designates obsolete materials to be removed from the files. Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work with minimum direct supervision, exhibit the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Maintenance Assistant

Seeking qualified candidates for a Part-time Maintenance Assistant, competitive salary and benefits, position located in Mentor, MN. Maintenance Assistant will perform routine maintenance to the Public Housing and other HRA owned housing properties. Work independently and travel throughout the HRA coverage area, Northwest Minnesota. Assist with monthly preventative maintenance inspection and repairs. Assist with work orders for unit repairs/needs. This list is not all inclusive and may include other duties as assigned.
